I've been valuing documentary photography more and more in my own home the past few years. I have fallen in love with images like this one, that are completely unscripted, messy, and real.
I understand the appeal of traditional portraits and agree that perfectly lit family portraits in a field are beautiful. But so is your morning routine, your baby's sleepy eyes looking up at you after a nap, and the way your kids chase each other around the kitchen table. I'm learning that parenthood is full of priceless moments that often get lost in the shuffle, and I'm more committed than ever to documenting those moments in my life. Details: includes a one-hour documentary session at your home, online gallery of final images and digital download of high-res files. Must be within 30 miles of Lancaster, PA and winner must be OK with images being shared on my website and social media. Session needs to take place by April 30, 2016. This is not a portrait session, a documentary session means I'll hang out with you in your home while you do life. If you don't understand why anyone would want pictures like that, that's cool, but then this probably isn't the giveaway for you. Let's still be friends though.
